Sense and Sensibility Starts the Jane Austen Read All A-long

Today marks the official start of the Jane Austen Read All A-long with Ms. Austen’s first published novel, Sense and Sensibility.

For the remainder of 2017, I’ll be reading one Janes Austen novel a month covering all six of her completed works.  There are some unfinished/unpublished bits that look intriguing, but will not be an official part of the Jane Austen Read All A-long.

Several other bloggers have signed up to join in on the fun for part or all of the read all a-long:

Plus a few other folks you are still wavering or are just planning on doing one book. Please let me know if I’ve left you off of this list or if you’d like to join in. I’ll make every effort to get you onto the “official” list.

I will be reading the first Austen in Brooklyn, New York, where C.J. and I will be cat-sitting for the next three weeks.  I wonder If I’ll get any envious stares at the coffee shop in Park Slope.  Because I’ll be on vacation there may not be as many “challenge” related posts as I might otherwise do. I will put up a review when I get back at the very least. Please feel free to leave links to your posts/reviews here until then.

The rest of our reading schedule follows:

  1. August: Pride and Prejudice
  2. September: Mansfield Park
  3. October: Emma
  4. November: Northanger Abbey
  5. December: Persuasion
